Application & Hiring Process for Non-Educator Positions

 

  1. Browse for specific positions on the Job Board
  2. Complete an e-application. Allow 20-30 minutes to complete the e-application. Time to complete is dependant on the type of position for which you are applying.
  3. After completing the e-application, you must still apply for a specific position on the Job Board.

         Important information

  1. Guest (Substitute) Teacher: To work as a guest (substitute) teacher in DPS, you must have a Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Teaching License,    5-Year Substitute Authorization, or 3-Year Substitute Authorization. Learn more here.
  2. If you are applying for a full-time clerical position, you must take and successfully pass an aptitude and typing test; part-time applicants must take and successfully pass the typing test. Both tests are offered free of charge at Emily Griffith Opportunity School. Call (720) 423-4758 to schedule.
  3. At the point of interview, you may be required to provide a list of three (3) professional references and/or three (3) letters of referenceBecause you will be required to provide references at the time of your interview, it is recommended that you obtain all necessary documents now. You will be notified of all documentation needed when an interview is scheduled.
